But May 5th was never announced as an actual release date by YM. Only Drake shouted it out at a show… But with Birdman being the boss, you'd think he would know when what is releasing before any of us do… and right now, he's the only truthful reliable information source we got. so technically, until we hear something from Nicki herself, C5 is coming before the Pink Print.

That's not true and she doesn't think that. She will just release it when she wants to, well not if it's in the same week as C5 but if there's a month in between it's no problem. Kanye and her both dropped their album in the same week and it was just friendly competition and the albums both ended up doing good.
