The guy above me has a point
but dissing his idol and mentor , the man who made him some-how famous , is disrespect.
sure i was expecting him to be in the album , but damn so much fuss.

Nah man i dont See him as big as now if he would have signed with Kanye or Jay (just to call the biggest). Back then Wayne had the Game on lock at Quality and Quantity. Nobody would have been able to give Drake the spotlight like Wayne did. Or how Drake said: This is Lil Wayne. Without him there would be no Drake.

The music speaks for itself. Yes, wayne definitely gave drake the spotlight but Drizzy was gonna make it no matter what

outta the current squad (besides the ex-Sqad members) he was the first signee tho...

But this nigga going overboard talking bout taking waynes spot lol
"Armed and dangerous, rich and famous, young and restless
                  Guns and stretchers
                  Cristal and dubs for breakfast
I just got one suggestion - none should test him
'Cause cuz get hectic; send one through your sons intestines
Glocks knock lungs from chests, you get the portrait?
Bodies piled up on porches, it won't be gorgeous"

Still think Drizzy would have been gone in other directions after signing with anybody but Wayne. Guess this was the best decision for everybody

I would say R.I.P. to Chuckee's career but there wasn't much of one to begin with

well i think the fact that he signed to YM had an influence in his music. we just can speculate about what happened if drake signed somewhere else but i really think he wouldn't be as big as he is now
