First of all, I personally think Iggy is shit, her voice is trash so is most of her music imo but still.
this new rap chick called Iggy Azalea she pretty much did her thing in the underground circuit (she came up under T.I.'s Hustle Gang) and since a year she's been blowing up a bit until a few weeks ago, she released her debut album 'The New Classic' and the lead single called Fancy (feat. Charli XCX) turned out as a major hit. It's #1 on Rap Songs and #4 on Billboard Hot 100 which is HUGE. Nicki peaked at #5 with Starships and #3 with Super Bass when she was already a huge star and those were pop songs while Iggy's song is a rap song.
She is also featured on a song with Ariana Grande, Problem, and that song is already #3 on Billboard Hot 100 after ONE week so it's almost obvious that it'll reach the number one spot this weeks.
That means Iggy will have a number one song before Nicki, since Nicki has never had one.
She is really blowing up and stuff and the track that is probably gonna be her new single also sounds like it'll do good

So this Iggy is actually the first female rapper that you can actually call competition for Nicki. I really don't think she will steal her crown, Nicki is on a waaaay to high level for that but still. I like the fact though that there are other female MCs coming up, will make Nicki even more competitive to defend her position.
