You're a fool thinking YM didn't promote him lol. He just doesn't make music that appeals to people, that's not saying he can't spit.

      Dumb thread.

It Cory ain't making it big on YM then he sure ain't making it on Shady records lol..

The only person relevant on shady records in Eminem....all these other rappers on there are complete nothing.

What more can they do to promote him? U want Wayne to kiss him in the mouth, maybe he'll get some heat from it? Lol..

well shady records fail at promoting and making the artists big as well , yelawolf had great potential of becoming for example "the next Eminem" as many said 3 years ago , but he was left alone after a mainstream album , and even though i think he still is a part of the team he returned to his trunk musik and old shit , trying to promote himself...he's underrated too , he has mad skills , but nothing happened he never became a "star". Same goes i think with Slaughterhouse , they had they're moment , but where are they now? Do they still promote them ? Only projects from Shady Records that become succesful are the ones with Shady in them. Eminem albums , D12 Albums with Eminem (ok this goes 10 years+ ago , so it's pointless to talk about it). or Bad Meets Evil , nobody would check a Royce da 5'9' album , but he and Eminem together? EVEN MY GIRLFRIEND KNEW ABOUT IT AND LIKED IT even though she doesnt listen to hip hop music...well...except Eminem!
Another example is 50 , who was pretty big a decade ago too , but he can't make it big in the charts (his last big succes was that song with jeremih , and it's been 3 years since then , plus he was a feature in the song aswell). He's a big name but he doesn't make hits. He left Shady Records btw couple months ago. Obie Tryce left too at some point , nobody promoted him.
So Cory Gunz in Shady Records? Maybe he would get a little (very little) more bigger , but i can't see him blow up there , if he can't blow up in YMCMB! I agree that Wayne , Mack and co. should promote him more , i don't know , make a single (a Cory single) with Weezy as a feature , or one with Drake on the hook , or one with Nicki , i'm sure they can make it. Don't know what's wrong. They started promoting Euro now , maybe he'll get that C5 feature...but chances are Euro is going to end up like Cory in 4 years , Cory got that feature in 6'7' and he's in the same spot almost 3,5 years later.

              wouldn't fit in my opinion.
shady records only has a few bigger artists while YM is more like a family, weezy, drizzy, nicki, baby are bigger but many of the other artists are popular as well, cause they on weezy singles or singles from someone else. nearly everyone on YM collaborates with each other.
              not like on shady records.

No one is stopping these artists like Cory Gunz, Flow, Euro and others, to drop a mixtape and drop songs everyday.
They don't do it, they expect an album instantly.

No one can build the hype for them, they have to do it themselves.

If they drop songs everyday and work hard, their fanbase will grow and then they will put out an album that can actually sell..

But I think they like it this way, they get some money, they live casually, drop a few verses a year and enjoy life all year long..

Wayne definitely made it because he worked hard, not because of label.

Cory's dad manages him and sucks at it, that's why. Plus Cory's work ethic isn't great, and he has no hook game
