IMO every single label has their roster full of artists that aren't gonna make it. Look at rocafella. Bleek freeway and beans never made huge waves. They sold millions but only thanks to jay.

In this decade, Cash Money is the most successful in terms of record sales. Wayne nicki and drake all move units. TDE probably is the dopest, but their sales are poor. They seem to do a lot more for their artists though.


Tbh I have no idea why you'd sign with YM if you're an already established artist. They're just not going to give you the time of day. Guys like chuckee, twist, Gudda, euro, they are all at their zenith on YM. they'd crash and burn elsewhere..
