Drake "If You're Reading This It's Too Late" Album
Take Care was boring as fuck, too. Hell, anything "GOOD" by this nigga sucks ass by your logic. Happy for Drake. But even he surprised at the numbers he doin'. He shouldn't be though. This nigga could literally release an Encore-level shit album and the women in his fanbase will ride for him and eventually convince The Metacritic Panel to say that this was a 20-out-of-10 solid effort. At least he know he'll do numbers with or without Wayne or Baby's support. He's known that for some time now though. I'm going to remain firm in my opinion that this isn't even a bad release, necessarily. Even by Drake's standards (Okay, that's kinda bullshit. But hear me out. Or read me out rather.).
It is just boring as fuck. So 500,000 units sold or not, that's that. And it proves Drake can release whatever type of shit he feels like releasing. You might have been "BORED OUT OF YOUR MIND" while listening to "Comeback Season". But Lil Wayne taking notice of that very mixtape is what got him the comfiest spot on The Young Money Roster when that shit mattered most. Let that marinate, jackasses. Smfh. How a nigga could spit as sick as he did in 2007 and 2008 and have so many narcoleptic casual listeners who only hypebeast over everything during and after "So Far Gone" was released. Blah.
But it's on iTunes and not available as a free download.
Is that not against the whole idea of a mixtape ?
The record industry is Drake feat. Drake. Drake do what Drake does. Didn't putting out a single for free on YouTube and sound cloud before itunes used to mean it wasn't a single? Look at Believe Me and others.

Wasn't you the one who called me out cuz I said Take Care was boring too?
legendarytunechi Anything about Take Care being bad was pretty much me mocking niggas who find his earlier work to be "boring". The production on this tape is so good though. That's the one thing I can say positive about it.
