  • Birdman forced to pay $2 million in taxes

The IRS ordered Birdman to cough up $2 million in unpaid taxes.

Forbes' annual list of the five wealthiest artists in hip hop didn't change much in 2015, with Diddy, Dr. Dre, Jay Z, 50 Cent and Birdman all making the cut again. The only noticeable shift was Stunna going from number four to five, and now we've got some news that may partially explain his slight drop in earnings. The Cash Money CEO was recently hit with two separate tax liens from the IRS for unpaid back taxes, totaling around $2 million.
TMZ reports that he's already paid up the $1,942,400.58, which was accrued from one lien in December 2014, and another this February. No word yet on what (if anything) this entails for Cash Money, but as Birdman's still worth over a hundred mil, we'd guess that the label's still fairly safe.
    Can't pay his taxes
    cause all his money spent
but thats okay, cause he's still fly

    I hate them thirsty bitches
    Cut them off like circumcision

funnily enough, Drake's album, which was meant to be a diss to Birdman, probably made him a shitload of money.

Wayne owed a lot in taxes too once. It's hardly a surprise.

Slim seems more careful about staying under the radar, either by keeping shit straight or by covering it up better. I'd bet he keeps better track of his money too
