True. Most of the time a record company would WANT to release three singles to the album, whatever keeps giving it steam and selling copies. As long as the album stays fresh in peoples minds, it moves, so you want to have as many singles you can possible ilk out of it before its in the back of people's memories.

Beyonce for instance has released like 7 of the songs on her album as singles. Why? Cause it keeps her name on your lips and her music in rotation. And it gets people saying "What album is that song on? Oh, that Sasha Fierce. I'm gonna cop that."

What? That song's not even on that album, but it is currently the third single from Drake's So Far Gone EP. Came out around the time No Ceilings dropped. I guess I could see where you could get that from....
