What Ya'll Think. Is Young Moneys "Princess" Shanell Marketable? Will She Do Good In The Industry? I Personally Think She Would Do Good In The Industry Because Of Her Skills, Work Ethic, She Also Has The Look, Attitude & Surroundings.

Im thinking she'll lose it either when her album comes out or a little after. B/c this is the time to do whatever you want. When people dont REAAAAALLY know you like that and you dont have Joan Rivers n them's old asses on you w/the fashion police b/c they dont know who you are.

Anyway hell yes she's marketable. BUT im hoping the chicks dont pull some BS b/c I see a lot of hating towards her on blogs and stuff b/c she's a chick and she's in the spotlight and she's a girl that's been notice/brought up by a famous guy. And b/c she's so different in her style and the music she does. So hopefully when her album comes out, it'll all come together and will grab everybody and bring in that fan base/sales. I mean she has really loyal fans but you know how it is when you get more attention.

When She Does Make It More In The Industry She'll Probably Be Another Jordan Sparks or Kelly Clarkson, Not Really Mentioned A Lot But When A Great Song Comes Out By Them There's A BIG Fuss About It. But she mentioned something about making music that's not the music that people in the industry expects from a black girl, or just not making stereotypical black girl music. But that's what I mean. People might look at her and go oh well you need to be singing some sad ass overly soulful stuff about love and all that. They dont expect a girl like SnL who rocks out w/the nose ring chains and makes music that's 80s influenced, or Rock influenced or about just bad assed stuff like I dunno being a girl that's in power and is strong and talks shit. I look at her like Kelis(which ironically SnL wrote shit for, so that's HER style too), who is weird in comparison to girls like Beyonce or Ashanti or A Keys. She has a different style that pulls from all Genres of music. And while she is successful, she's also out of the box and doesnt get AS much attention as some of the other girls b/c she breaks the mold. I mean come on, Beyonce's video phone/Diva etc is produced by bangladesh, who was Shanell's producer before BK did that whole edgy thing so its like......Ok that was the Sasha Fierce part of the album, she said that's a whole alternate personality to 'justify' being so different from her regular music. That 'differentness' is just Shanell's personailty. So for SnL, who is probably not going to follow the rules for attention then go astray later, it might be harder to get the attention she deserves.

Edit: Plus people always want to either steal from girls like that or just throw their attention to someone else. I mean lady gaga? Really, like I said Kelis has been weird since she came out but did anyone give her her props or bring that up? No, they just said omg Lady Gaga is just so new and so fun and so edgy. Or how Kelis had that half shaved hairstyle YEARS before Cassie or Lala or Rhianna did. But no one cares or remembers.

Every fuckin blog. But MTO, NecoleBitchie, Concrete loop hates her music(not the owner, he's one of her friends but I mean the commenters), Bossip.....TheyBF.

MTO, Bossip, and They BF I think are the ones where the owners shit talk not just the commenters....

The only blog that I saw good shit from the commenters was dimewars. But still, that's not to say she doesnt get support too.

But I dunno, Nicki's twitter blew up since she put her mixtape out and stuff, SnL hasnt official dropped anything really official/major yet of her own. Plus she's like the only one on YM that doesnt 'campaign' for followers. Everybody else does that 'get me such n such followers' by tonight thing. Or nicki has her fansites that do it for her. But I dunno. I think SnL will get a lot of money/success but in a more quiet way. Where she does shit, then drops back, then does stuff, then drops back.

Plus SnL has talents that put her behind the scenes such as Choreographer Talents/Writing Talents. Nicki said she wants to branch out and write for other artists but most of her talents as a singer/dancer/possibly actress all put her in front where you'd know its her.
