  • Aynybody hear skateboard?

I was considering on getting a bike for school, but a skateboard is cheaper and smaller. Anyways, I'm a n00bs when it comes down to it, can anybody recommend a size and brand on what to get? I'm 6"0 and 160lbs and need something with enough space. I'm not looking to do any tricks, just need something simple.

I'll check out Element. I'm now thinking though that it would be easier to take a bicycle lol.

If your looking to ride you also wanna look into bearing and trucks. For a board i'd recommend enjoi but thats jus because i prefer them over most them Bakers are another one of my favorites to ride.

If your looking to ride i'm assuming that your gonna wanna go fast so look into some Swiss bearings... your local shop should have there best type if not keep looking because there worth the money and for trucks, since your only gonna ride it try adn get something on the heavy side to keep you going so you dont get so tired. Skateboardings about momentum and inertia so the weight of the trucks will pull you along alot easier if there heavier (keep in mind this is only if you dont plan on trickin).
