Could somebody please explain the Twilight series to me?

I didn't understand Twilight at all, everybody in the town is pale-skinned and live in a dark town that gets no sun at all and without a minority in sight. Well, today I saw New Moon and nothing much has changed other than this sprung ass Bella catching feelings for Wolverine, WTF is up???

there was a chick called bella who moved in wit her dad then she meet a hot guy called edward who was a vampire then 3 vampires tried to kill her but edward saved her
book 2 edward leaves bella coz its to dangerous for her to be around him she hangs out with a another bloke jacob whose a werewolf she gets bored and jumps of a cliff and edward phsycic sister sees and cums back to save her then they go to italy where the vampire mafia are coz edward tries to commit suicide coz he thinks shes dead they bugger off and alls lovey dovey
book three jacob pissed off wit bella coz shes goin out wit edward agen and shes hurt coz she really likes him then the mate of the vampire killed in book 1 tries to kill her so she make a new army of vampires then the good vampires team up with the werewolves to beat it meanwhile the vampire mafia come to kill bella coz she knows about the existence of vampires they fuck off pretty quick though bella and edward to marry so jacob gets hurt and buggers off
book 4 bella and edward get married, and jacob comes back for the wedding, edward and bella fuck and she gets pregnant
the werewolf pack try to kill the baby coz they think its dangerous jacob leaves the pack to save bella
she gives birth and the kid and jacob become tied together (NOT PEDO)
then the vampire mafia come back to kill the kid coz they think its dangerous the good vampires get a huge army to fight then the mafia get scared and leave and the all live happily ever after
