Well, I wrote this as a blog post, but there's a few people on here that might get a kick out of reading it so I figured I'd share.

So uh, here's my story.

Recently my mind has been going crazy with all of these thoughts and emotions. It's funny how one person can enter your life, and drastically alter anything that might be going on. If you couldn't tell, yeah, that's my story. I'm a 17 year old guy, never had much of an interest in girls. It's not that I didn't care about it, it wasn't important. But you. I have no idea who added who, but we were Facebook friends, and she kept showing up. So one day I decided I was gonna say something to that girl, so I did. I honestly think this was as nervous as I had ever been at this point in time. I finally grew a pair and said something. I knew she was my neighbor as a friend had said something about her a few times. I messaged her on Facebook basically saying, hi, I don't know you, but I'm your neighbor and we talked briefly.*Yeah, I'm good I know.*

Skip ahead a month or two. It's around thanksgiving time, I had spoken to her one or two more times since the first. I was at a friends house on Facebook, and the little Facebook chat notification thing popped up. It was you. Out of the blue, you wished me a happy thanksgiving. I returned those wishes, and we talked a bit until you just didn't respond. I could have gone on forever. When the conversation was over, I couldn't believe it. I think it was that moment in time that my "crush" had started forming.*

Fast forward again, it's New Years eve. It was the middle of the school year, and I was getting bored of doing the same shit every day. You came to mind often, and I really wanted to talk more. So I decided to take a leap of faith. January 1, I sent her a message on Facebook. Subject line: "Hey". I'm all too clever with this stuff, I know. The message said, "So I had made a new years resolution to start talking to some new people, and I was kinda hoping I could get your number so we could talk more!" A week goes by....no answer. I had lost hope after the first day. But this would change it all. I posted a "truth is" status on Facebook, she liked it. First thoughts that run through my head, "Oh fuck, oh fuck, what do I say to her." I don't remember verbatim what I said, but I told her I thought she was pretty and nice. Then at the end, I included, "You should check your messages!"*

That same day, a few minutes after I posted to her wall, I get a message. It's from her. She says she never got a message from me, so she doesn't know what I'm talking about. I'm thinking to myself, oh shit, it never went through. I did not hesitate to respond as quickly as possible. I basically restated what I said in the first message. Blah blah blah, "can I get your number?" The only difference is, this time I got it. The response I got from you was, "yeah for sure, here's my number xxx.xxx.xxxx, text me whenever " I respond with, "Alright, I'll be sure to do that! " and then I gave her my number so she had it as well.*

At this point in time, I'm happy as a fucking clam. I get another message back from her. This would top it all off.

"Don't forget me "

I responded with "How could I forget you? "


I couldn't.


and I never will.







Maybe when I'm bored again I'll write a little more of my story out, right now I'm too tired.*

Glad to see I made a connection with someone haha.

The past is the past for a reason, but I'm holding onto it for my dear life. If I could go back to the first few times I hung out with her, I would :/

Sadly yes, but thats what makes us human.
