This should be discussed in the religion thread but it's so complex that is can't be "dumb" and it actually makes more sense than just believing in a book and a guy in the sky.

Faith- Believing in something with absolutely no evidence.
Why do people like to believe in things with no evidence.. at least the big bang makes sense.
