Yea, I am.
I under exaggerated the amount.
It would take 53 quadrillion megatons to do it.
The most that we could do to the world with nuclear weapons is create a nuclear winter that would last for 3 years before the air would clear up.

To do that we would need about 500 (more or less) megatons of explosives. The United States is one of the five recognized nuclear powers under the. As of September 2009[update] it possessed 5,113 warheads operationally deployed, in active reserve, or held in inactive storage. This figure compare to a peak of 31,225 total warheads in 1967 and 22,217 in 1989, and does not include "several thousand" warheads that have been retired and scheduled for dismantlementRussia possesses the largest stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction in the world. The country declared an arsenal of 28,000 tons of chemical weapons in 2008.say that Russia has 3,100 nuclear warheads, while the U.S. has 5,700. According to a report published by the U.S State Department in April, 2009, Russia has 3,909 nuclear warheads, while the US has 5,576 warheads.

Re: Speedy's predictions
No, we don't have more than enough.
We don't even have close to enough.
53 quadrillion megatons is A LOT of power.
To completely destroy the earth we would need power that is damn near compared to Mars or Jupiter slamming into us.

1 nuclear bomb = 1,000,000 tons of TNT, Theirs over 50,000 nuclear bombs on earth
1,000,000 tons of TNT
1,000,000 tons of TNT

If you do the research enough anti matter would be able to destroy the Earth (or any other matter, really).

1,000,000 tons of TNT
1,000,000 tons of TNT
2,500,000,000,000 tons of antimatter is what we would need to destroy the earth.
53 quadrillion = 53,000,000,000,000,000
IS NOT POSSIBLE YET.
That's how much anti-matter we would need and I doubt that we're close to having that much
Also, I might be wrong on that 2,500,000,000,000 tons of antimatter thing.
That's how much anti-matter we would need to completely destroy the Earth.
