Stop smoking. It'll be worth it in the long run. In a month or so, ask your mom to buy a drug test kit for you, test negative, and give her a big ass hug. She'll love you again.

Im sure you won't get better with football if you smoke. Think about that.
About the mom thing, you could try to tell her that it was your first time doing it because you was curious of the effect, to know what it feels like if you're high. Tell her it was just a one-time thing.
