          no, other religious people (like judges and sheikhs) are respected more than professionals (doctors,engineers etc.... ) although they are less wealthy. and i guess in all countries , the more ur educated the more respect u earn .. the local problem we have here is.. we have this stupid tradition in which we dont accept to get low-standard jobs .. such as being cashiers and waiters (all workers here are from india, pakistanm indonisia Philippine etc.. ) .. according to our customs that is a shame and people dont take those seriously and blame them for not going to college and eventually getting better jobs.. like 90 percent of people would rather sit their asses at their parents' houses and do nothing than work for like 1000 dollars a month.. that's why everybody wants these well-paid occupations coz otherwise they wont have a job at all and they will just live with their parents and not have their own salaries ...

              No but I'm making a general assumption about England and the other countries that you mentioned, I'm sure you can look up articles online about corruption in England and other places, I'm just saying no matter what country you mention there will be corruption that's what happens when people obtain high power they become corrupt.

                that may be true. but look what america did. we pretty much had modern day concertation camps after 9/11 and all the bullshit about you can get pulled over just cause you look mexican.. none of that is bad at all. we are the prefect place to live if your fucking WHITE

                EDIT: if we get drafted we do have a choice. its called first flight to canada for about a month and then you come back

Were really not that bad of a country we're just so powerful and our presence is felt throughout the world that for every little mistake we make ( and I'm not saying Guantanimo or the new Arizona laws are little mistakes) we get scrutinized to the fullest extent and people say we're such a horrible country when we actually have a lot of freedoms that even other modern nations do not.

                      Are you talking about the woman in Iran or something like that who is going to be stoned to death? Because in my eyes, thats right, but only in their country. Whether the law is humane or not shouldn't really matter. I mean, thats the law. She knew what was going to happen if she was caught. I personally think that its wrong to stone a person to death, but who am I to say that the laws in another country are wrong? For other people (the UN) to get involved isn't right, to me.
