Better online community (although you pay, it's worth it)
the games loads and play better especially when you install the game to your hard drive
the new black xbox has wifi, 250 GB hard drive, way more features and doesn't get RROD
The controller is better to play with
All download content is first released to the xbox
it's cheaper

if you want serious online gaming, go for the xbox as live is quite badass, but if you're more into blueray's, media etc and don't care all that much about online gaming go for the PS3
