Xbox 360 or PS3?

Within a few months we're getting a new tv.
My dad said I can decide wether to get the new Xbox or a PS3.
He's supporting the PS3 because it will save him a blu-ray player.

But it's still my call. What do y'all suggest and why?

I had a Xbox n now i have a PS3, i'd say PS3 if u want to play live, u can play live with the Xbox to but it'll cost ya, the PS3 live gamin' is free, but you need to buy a HDMI cabel if u want to play in HD with a PS3, with the Xbox it comes for free, it costs like 43-44 dollars i think, but if u dont want to play live i suggest u buy the Xbox 360

PS3 is better in the long run but if you want better online service and better games,go with 360.

it really just matters what games your in since they both exclusives. if you like halo and gears of war choose xbox. if you like resistance, GoW, killzone, and little big planet then choose ps3. they both are good. and are better in some aspect then the other. but it depends on your type of gaming. i like ps3 better. my xbox only gets played for netflix or halo reach but thats it

All The Map Packs Are Released On Xbox A Month Earlier. Halo Was Ivented For Xbox But They Decided Too Put It On Ps3 Too.
