Audacity is a great little program..If you can't use that then I dunno dude.

There are alot of controls and they do look daunting, but you just play around with it and you can understand what most of them do.

Thought thats where this was going . So many people were asking for someone to do that, but nobody has the acapella.

That said, I doubt you'd be able to strip the instrumental from that snippet.

i have tried... it doesnt work.. plus i dont understand audacity all that well... i just now am starting to mess with shit on there

I know the OP said his original problem was resolved, but just in case something happens here's what I use, mp3DirectCut. It's simple, easy and small. I use it to cut up those songs on CDs where the last track is like 10+ minutes long because there's some hidden bonus song at the end. This lets me split the track and cut out all the silence in between. It's a snap. Oh and it's free
