For real. But to be fair, the players agreed to go down from 57% to 53% but the owners want 51%. I don't see why they cannot just meet halfway at 52...

The players have gone down from 57 to 52, the owners won't budge from 50 and they've won every other issue, really it's the owners being greedy because they know they have the leverage.

Saw people on Outside the Lines today saying if there's not a deal in the next 2 weeks there might not be a season

Bullshit. I understand where both sides are coming from though. The players have already made a lot of concessions and they don't feel they should have to make more, the owners are losing $300M per season and they would need the players to come down to 49.5% to make all of that up and break even, but of course being businessmen they don't want to just break even, they want to make a profit, meaning they would want the players to come down even further.
