I think there talking more about "scoring ability" than the actual stats..

It's like Wilt has averaged 50 points in a season and Kareem is the all time scoring leader but nobody thinks they are the greatest scorers of all time..most would say Jordan..

Melo just has so much ability..he can do it all..shoot the 3, Mid range game, post up,catch and shoot..Durant can do all of those things except post up..

Idk if he's a better scorer than Durant but he's in the conversation I think

But if he has the ability to score in more ways and he still doesn't score more doesnt that mean he is a worst scorer.....Melo to me can score in bunches but Durant is a more efficient scorer...

Its Melos Situation.... Of Course He's Not Gne Lead Tha NBA In Scoring his first 2 years....
Then He Played With IVERSON.. maybe the best scorer ever
then when iverson left tha issues with Coach Karl
Then Coming To Tha Knicks... This Will Be His First Full Season With Tha Knicks So We Will See
And Stats Show That His Best Years Are Wen He Comes Off Olympic Play......lol melo be lazy in tha off season
And He Plays Better Defense Coming Off Playin For Team USA....... I Can't Wait....Paul Will Lead In Assist This Year :-)

We set it up pretty well though....all of our bad contracts come off the books in 2014 (Kobe, Gasol, World Peace)...good where gonna have alot of money to spend that year..

Dwight would be around 29-30 and still a pretty good player and the 2014 Free Agent class looks pretty good..we'll reload and still be a good team

lmfao bynum's a funny ass dude

and we got a 2-3 year window with this group of guys. The Lakers are a big market, and therfor will always be relavent, guys want to come to LA. Thats why the lakers never need to rebuild or build through draft picks. We just reload. Once we let go of all our high contracts we'll have cap space, and a 28 year old Howard which is the age that many players are in their prime. Definately will be able to sign some good free agents with the cap space and then we've seen many times Mitch can make some great trades for us. As long as the Lakers are located in LA, and Mitch is our gm our window is never closing.

If lebron doesnt go to back do you think Kobe would take a paycut and it would be nash, kobe, lebron, and dwight

Yeah, if Kobe wants to play another year after his contract is up I'm sure he'll take a big paycut so we can use that money on some free agents.
