The only teams the Spurs really need to fear are Houston and Oklahoma, because they routinely beat us.
Just remember that neither the Clippers or the Rockets have made it very far in recent years; also, like I said, their game-styles don't work well in the Playoffs. Harden won't get those BS calls, and all those lobs thrown by CP3 will be minimized.
The Spurs were 28 seconds from winning it all last season...people have been saying we're too old for about 5 years now.
Not trying to start anything, but why aren't you including Portland in that list?

They exploited an easy schedule early in the season, but they're not contenders. How do they expect to be playing their starters 40+ minutes a night?

Then again, you're probably the guy who said they're 2nd round fodder every year since their last title
Again, the Spurs are the #2 seed with some of the biggest injuries of any team this season. We've had to work in a lot of different rotations because of this and because of our new players...the Clippers are the #4 seed with one of the most stacked teams in the league. They've had their asses handed to them year after year in the Playoffs. I don't see that changing, especially considering they lost to the Spurs the other day who were without Parker.

We've had major injuries; Green and Leonard have regressed a little; Marco and Diaw have become two of our best players and thus readjustments needed to be made to fit them in. Since the All-Star break, the Spurs have looked really good (beating the Clippers and Portland convincingly).
If we maintain the #2 seed, we'll probably have either Phoenix or Dallas in the First Round (fairly easy wins in my opinion). Then we would hope to have anyone but Houston (they routinely beat us and they have the Spur killer, James Harden). I think we could beat Portland or the Clippers or Golden State in the second round, too.
Sure, if we run into OKC and Westbrook is healthy/the team is playing well, we have little chance of making the Finals...but the Spurs are the ideal Playoff team: a deep bench, a lot of experience, great coaching, and a game-style that is hard to plan for.

Duncan > Iverson so it doesn't really matter bro
That may be true. But the Playoffs, yet again, are a different picture. Portland are 15-15 in their last 30 (or something like that). They're true pretenders. They won't get anywhere playing their guys 40+ minutes a game.
We've beat the Clippers convincingly before (and we're 2-1 against them this season). At the moment the Spurs look better. Golden State have been terrible this year...truly terrible.
OKC and Houston are the only two teams that really scare me
