They have a good team, but I have the feeling that they won't make it to the finals. Indiana is pretty good bro, and maybe not enough for finals, but they will sure tire Miami off heading to finals.

Little franchise? lol.
Duncan is not essential to the Spurs, when he plays bad they still win. It's different story in playoffs tho. If he's on the role there, Spurs can't lose.
Lakers never lost a core of their team.. When Shaq left, Kobe exploded. Now there's no Kobe and Lakers suck. That's not sustaining success.
Lakers depend on one guy, without prime Kobe they are fucked. Without prime Kobe they wouldn't win title in 09 and 10.
While Spurs play team basketball and do not depend on anyone. I bet Gregg can make 40+ wins with average roster. He is that kind of coach.
Miami is the best team bro, they still have LeBron James. As long as D-Wade can play good they'll be fine. They're back to back champs... regular season don't mean shit. The 2010 season after the Lakers won Orlando in the finals in 09 we lost 7 of our last 11 games entering the playoffs. Champions get bored in the regular season and save energy for the playoffs. I knew the Lakers would still win in it in 2010 because we had Kobe Bryant and other teams didn't.

Indiana I'm hoping can pull it off. But they've started falling off badly and they need the #1 seed. Paul George still isn't a superstar and is way to inconsistent. The East is a joke though, Miami will be waiting in the Finals for a team from the West that has had to battle hard every single round pretty much.

& the Spurs are considered a small market. That isn't a diss or anything WeezYIsCraaazY will tell you the same thing. The Lakers have been terrible this year for way more reasons than Kobe being hurt. Obviously having the best player of our generation only play 6 games the whole season will kill you, but we've had more injuries as a whole roster than anybody I've ever seen. We've had more different starting lineups than anybody in the NBA... We played a game at Cleveland where we had such few amount of players available Chris Kaman fouled out of the game but had to keep playing because we didn't have any more players to sub out.

& what you're saying doesn't make sense. No NBA team without there best player would've won the Championship. None of those Spurs teams would've without Duncan, so obviously the Lakers wouldn't have in 09' and 10' without Kobe.

The Lakers rebuild themselves better than anybody. We'll have a lottery pick this year, and get some superstars within the next two years. We have everybody's contracts coming off the books pretty much as well, we'll be fine like we always are. We have 1-2 bad seasons then bounce back and are right back on top. It's been like this since the Lakers have been a franchise they're the most successful NBA franchise for a reason. They win championships every decade.

They're 3.5 games ahead of OKC, and 5.5 ahead of the Clippers. They've got the #1 seed locked.

You make lots of good points. Miami can be considered best team, but I don't think I can agree with that with 100% until I see playoff battle between OKC and Miami, which will probably be the finals again.. I really think Durant will come through harder this time. And as you said, as long as Wade plays good they will be fine.. But that's not a guarantee.. If he doesn't play well or injures himself, Miami won't be title contenders at all.

Also I agree that Indiana fell off pretty badly, George isn't a superstar, but they are still good team, anything can happen, but in full power Miami vs full power Indiana, Miami wins.

Imo, Spurs are big franchise. Bucks, Wizards, for me those are "small market" franchises. Spurs is one of the biggest franchises in NBA.
And yeah, I know, Lakers are troubled with injures, but you say that no matter what Lakers are always sustaining success.. But that's not necessarily true, they never lost their superstar,(In recent history), and now when they did, they aren't really successful. I get what you are saying tho, and it's true, no team can win title without superstar.. Sustaining success to me is definition of Spurs, ageing roster, but they have been on top of the West conference for a long period of time.

Of course, when you look at the bigger picture, throughout the whole history of NBA, Celtics and Lakers the only teams that can be placed in that category.

I was talking about regular season. Spurs even without their superstars playing good, are still #1 seed in West.
Lakers without their superstar are not a playoff team.

But as you said, Lakers are huge organization, and they will bounce back pretty soon.

Imo, Celtics are most successful NBA franchise, but that's debatable.

ok thanks, ya they pretty much have it now, and about miami if they can take that #1 seed from indiana i think that will be huge for them in terms of Indiana's psyche, theyve been chasing the #1 seed in the east all year, and have again and again emphasized how important that is for them and hhow bad the want it, if miami can take it from them i think they'll beat them

• Indiana is 1.5 games ahead of Miami -

Miami has 10 games left. (7 at home)

Indiana has 9 games left. (4 at home)

They both play each other one more time this season. & it's @ Miami.

The Pacers still have vs SA, @ Miami, vs OKC.

Miami's hardest game the rest of there schedule is at home against Indiana, besides that it's at home against BROOKLYN. The rest of there games are those patty cake East teams.

Miami has a much better chance at getting the #1 seed, and when that happens any chances Indiana has they can kiss goodbye.

To be fair, we've been beating every team like that as of late.

But yes, Pacers looked like shit most of the night.

But they shouldn't lose by that much, especially at home. They lost to the Cavs by a lot yesterday too. Shame... I wish they could've knocked Miami off.

It's not like we should be able to keep up with them though.
