How has nobody on here say anything about Lamar Odom

As a lifelong Lakers fan this breaks my heart. This guy has gone through some unimaginable things and I really hope he pulls through.

- His father was addicted to heroin
- His mother died from cancer when he was 12
- His 6 month of son died in his sleep
- Had to attend three different high schools
- Had his first scholarship revoked before the fall of his freshman year
- Robbed at gunpoint
- If I remember correctly he had to bury his two best friends the same year his son passed away and soon after his grandmother who raised him

The 2009 & 2010 Laker Championships wouldn't have happened if we didn't have Odom. Yes, Kobe was the alpha dog but Odom was the glue. Reading articles about the situation I'm yet to find a single sports reporter that hasn't stated when they met he was one of the friendliest athletes they've come in contact with.

I highly recommend watching this video from SVP who went off about the situation. Super classy.

Odom was a great player, and he had huge potential in him, guy with that size, handling ball and shooting like he had, it was amazing, his vision was great..

It's sad that he went the wrong way, and got where he is now..

I hope he makes it, but at the same time I'm sad that he will never be what he used to..

I went to the mavs and Hawks preseason game and 2 things I saw:

1. If John Jenkins gets playing time in the regular season look out he has 6th man of the year potential, he has handles, a good jump shot, and is really good at creating his own shot. He's a pretty solid defender and an underrated passer.

2. I think the new Atlanta jerseys are sick

I hate Kobe Bryant lol, but league will definitely not be the same without him, one of the best to ever do it, and watching every minute of his last game bumping Kobe by Weezy aha
