Just download the scrobbler. Whenever you connect you iPod to iTunes it will update to your profile.

it basically records your plays on itunes or whatever music software you use and tallies up the songs and the artists you listen to, to give you trends on what type of music you've been listening, what artists, what songs, how many plays ..etc etc..

It's dope, been on the site for 5 years, i have like near 90k plays ..
