Xbox Live Connection Question.

My Adapter is not working, its not turning green when i turn my Xbox on. I even plugged a ether cable in my xbox to my modem shit still isnt working... And my internet works or i wouldnt be making this thread.

If your modem isn't assigning an IP to your Xbox, I'd suggest trying a reset on your modem. How to Reboot or Reset a Cable or DSL Modem Properly | eHow.com

Irrelevant, his question is about his IP not assigning to his Xbox.

Have you checked it's on automatic when assigning the IP on the Xbox etc? You got the correct details inputted for it to connect to your internet? (Password, keys and network name etc)

Yes its set to Auto, and the Password and everything is correct
I can find the modem when i scan i just cant connect to it.

keep the modem unplugged for a while.

one time i couldn't get my live working so i called my cable provider, they fixed it.
