I think a lot depends on which type of game you like better. I bought AC:B and I think it's awesome so far if you like stealth missions and stuff like that. The multiplayer doesn't have a lot of people playing yet since it's new, but it's really cool too. A lot different and more unique than most multiplayers. Personally I would buy Assassin's Creed, but I know a lot of people love Black Ops too

If you played the previous assassins creed games then cop Brotherhood(from what I have heard it is great.)

If you are into FPS's then cop black op's.

If you liked the other AC's and like single player more i'd say get brotherhood,

if you like the COD series & online more get black ops.

But seriously, if you like FPS games more, get Black Ops. If you like games that are more open world and use stealth and free running and that type of stuff (and if you played AC2), get Brotherhood.
