Because everybody loves social shit nowadays, so games are all about multi-player/online, and they throw out the same online focused games every 12 months with a few changes.

Game developers don't focus on single player anymore, or originality, except for a few like Rockstar, although there marketing is annoying.

Word a good single player game > a great multiplayer game

I dont even like playing online tbh...

Generation of games you come from? How old are you? I'm 22 and like to think my generation was around for some of the most epic games of all time. And online gaming was MASSIVE then, but it was more of a special club back then. Now it's just very commercial and mainstream and everyone does it because gaming consoles have made it so easy. You don't have to be a geek to game online anymore.

RTCW on PC online was my shit as a kid. I still play it to this day. Over 10 years on that game >>>

Maybe its just the games I used to play? Idk but I didnt start playing online until Black Ops came out. I used to always play single player games

I remember I used to go with my friends to these network computer places and we would just stay there for hours playing LAN Counter Strike, and play against other dudes....It was like going to the club with the homies back in the day....shiiit, sure do miss these days.

but I still play Multiplayer games now like CoD...shit is cool now too..
