My cousin who says Wayne is wack and not lyrical, I played that Carter 2 and he was like "This shit dope son" I had to burn a copy for him. He said that he didn't know Wayne could rap like that, he even said Wayne sounded a lil like Jay.

Carter 2 is just too raw. One of my favorite rap albums of all time. Carter 1 has some of my all time favorite Wayne songs though (BMJR). He has just spitting fire so effortlessly back then.

Tha Carter was basically his first lyrical album, I'm not saying the the block is hot and lights out weren't but on Tha carter he was spitten some fire.
