my mac starting slowing down majorly and i realized it was because i didn't have enough memory so i moved all my HD movies, deleted all my standard quality ones and deleted my excess files. it works perfectly now. hopefully yours will work a little better after you back up your stuff.

I didn't really have that much on it to begin with..Biggest was my music. I had a couple programs that were large (Final Cut for the f. of it) but nothing outta the ordinary. All my movies, HD movies, tv shows were on my External.

Not sure what happened...Im in safe mode right now and nothing is freezing so that's a plus.
