What do you think of It Was Written? very good album imo, not as good as Illmatic but a decent follow-up

People call it a classic, I'm too young to know about the impact it had but I'm assuming it was negligible (like most of his albums). I rate it as his his second best album and third best project. 9/10. Amazing album.

It Was Written was pretty good, but he set the bar so high with illmatic that it was so hard to top it

Underrating it tbh.

About that Nas discography...

Why is Nastradamus so hated on? Wtf, I liked that album more than some of those y'all mention? I guess it's just me then...

Yeah, listened to Thursday again yesterday and it wasn't anything special. I respect how he experimented with some different sounds, but the lyrics were just average. The Birds tho... Still gets me everytime.
