Mine works fine mate. I have done nothing different, in fact I recently put it on my Firefox on my Mac and it works fine. All the same settings as I wrote in the guide, same IP. I have no clue why it stops working for some people, mine never has.

If you go to View > Toolbars > Add-on Bar

Then at the bottom make sure the icon on the left (should look like a circle icon) make sure it's red. That means it's running and is active. If it's grey or anything then it's not on, but I'm sure yours is on, that's that only thing I can think of mate.
