Yeah, another reason I didn't overclock is precisely because of that. I still use the stock heatsink that it came with and the rest of the cooling in my system isn't that great.

And tbh I forgot about that feature. According to what I'm reading now, I could use Turbo Burst to go to ~3.46GHz. When I overclock, I like to do it myself, but I might consider doing it this way if I get some better cooling.

The Turbo Boost will do it automatically when say, for example, you're playing a game or doing an intensive task on your PC and it's hitting high CPU usage then Turbo Boost will kick in and temporarily overclock the CPU to 3.4Ghz while you need the extra boost when performing those heavy resource tasks. Once you stop, it'll clock it back to stock levels. (You'll see TurboV in your tray on the taskbar now running ready to Turbo Boost when needed)
