to tell you why Tim Westwood was fired.

After receiving the news of Tim’s impending exit from his 1xtra Drivetime show, curious as you definitely are to know why was Tim Westwood fired, I plunged into my usual small investigative digging and was able to come out with an authoritative clue – yes, that’s all we get as BBC are hush hush about the whole thing.

After running in loops and hitting dead ends, I was able to cypher that the reason why Tim Westwood was fired has to do with his age – at 54 Tim is far from being a young bloke!

So many fans were beginning to complain of the cringy ‘wigga’ character (as a fan commented) that he plays in his show, apparently just to keep in tune with his largely young aged audience, and I think BBC radio had a listening ear on this one – so they shuffled him off for a much younger and vibrant Charlie Sloth. I also read a comment where a UK based blog mentioned that Tim Westwood once lied about his age. He was reported to have under declared his age by a whooping 10 years, but was caught in the act by his employers. Well, I can vouch for the veracity of the accusation, and this is definitely gist for another sunny day.
