I don't think it's about egos. If you know someone likes to fight at parties and you don't want that at your party, you wouldn't invite that person. You wouldn't go onto a stage in front of everyone and call that person out.
I see it as a matter of respect. The only ego involved was Flex's when he said that he would end her career, but she came onto his show and ruined him
she came on to be defensive at the core though, people are upset she didnt perform thats the bottom line, all the other bullshit about what flex said and did is irrelevant she only used it cause she didnt wanna talk about the topic at hand
dont be swayed by her aggressive "bad bitch" bullshit, she is nervous that what she did is gonna effect her sales why do you think she said them over the air
how? she tried to use her gender as a crutch for not performing and then in the same sentence said she only didnt perfom cause wayne told her too then when asked if she thought it was the right decision she danced around the question for 20 minutes

People were upset, but people have to understand that artists stand as individuals too. She paused when he asked if she agreed so it's okay to assume she's nervous, but I still see the decision as the proper decision.

so you wouldnt go to school just because somebody said one of your essays wasnt that good?
all im saying is, YMCMB needs to start being a little more professional about their shit

That's not really the point. The point is, Nicki was gonna be headlining the show. Who in the right mind would come on stage and diss her fans and her songs? That's fucked up. That's on some Kanye VMA shit.

IMO a better response would have been to go up their and fucking kill it and prove them wrong, instead she ran and hid behind irrelevant topics like gender, money, and pride

No, because she had to do it for respect if she would of performed than that Dj that disrespected her would of felt like he could of kept on doing it, and more people would of felt like they could disrespect her because she wouldn't do anything. She had to "proof" that she deserves respect. And you talk about YMCMB being professional when that Dj wasn't being professional himself.
