So, i might be getting my first car REAL SOON.

Like next week, two weeks from now.

And it's a stick...fml. Lol i'm used to pushin the pedal and going!

first car was stick, and every single one after that.... once you get comfortable with it, it'll be 2nd nature. and its a good thing to know how to do, in case you gotta drive someone else's car home, or drive a 4wheeler/motorcycle.

I've drove stick about two times before, and was fuckin horrible.

I wanna be comfortable driving, not worrying when i gotta fucking shift, then downshift and put into neutral lol

thats understandable.... my advice: get to an OPEN lot, i mean wide open. start at a stop, and just work on letting the clutch out smooth while giving it gas, once you feel "where" the clutch "grabs" you'll start getting more comfortable with knowing when to give it enough gas to catch on the clutch, and go forward.

its not something you'll get in a half an hour, or even an hour... took me almost a week to get to the point where i wasnt afraid of coming to a full stop and going back into first gear, you'll be fine, just get used to doing the work instead of the automatic transmission.

so much better on mpg ratings too.

3rd car i ever had... loved it. great on gas, great on insurance. doesnt look bad, and its small enough that if you put a system in it, it'll BUMP. good luck with it all dude.

Yeah, i just got information from my mom about the car, it only has 42k miles on it! And i've been in it before, driven it before. Not a bad car at all, it's just stick lol

I guess i gotta get used to it. She replaced the belts about two weeks ago, and got the tires rotated. Now it needs about $800 in repairs for the shocks (shit bounces too much), so i'm gonna take care of that lol And i'm sure a paint job isn't expensive? like $150?
