4 hours isnt enough to get you into your deepest REM stage, thats why you dont feel refreshed...

but i agree, i get no more than 6, my internal clock will wake me up almost exactly 6hrs10mins into my sleep. the human brain is an amazing "machine"

Yeah, i learned about that REM staging and shit. How there's three stages, and within the first hour or so, you're only in the first one, which is a pretty light sleep.

if you want fucked up sleep this happens in my sleep about once a week, sometimes 3-4 times a week. its horrible.
