Quite complicated. At this point though, if I told her I was going to Vegas and she got upset about it, she would have only herself to blame. The only reason I'm going there and not to Florida is because right now we are technically no more than friends (which was her choice), and because of that she said she wasn't comfortable with me spending that much money to go see her. Also she knows me well enough to trust me and know that I wouldn't do anything that would be detrimental to our relationship.

Christ I'm sounding like Twiggz but:

In the current climate of your relationship, is it advisable to go to Vegas. You may have no intentions of cheating but after a few drinks in Vegas anything can happen. Indent know your "friend" but I'll damn near guarantee that she won't like it regardless if what she says.
Of course she isn't comfortable you spending that much money, it's a guilt thing. To my knowledge of what you've told me of her, she's confused and doesn't know what she wants. if you spend money it will sort push her more, she will feel bad that you spent that much money if it won't work out. Essentially from my view it will put pressure on her. She doesn't Wang ghat, she Aldo doesn't want to let you go for fear of not finding a similar person.

I don't drink so we're good there. I know that I wouldn't even put myself in a position where I might be tempted to do something stupid, and I think she knows that too. I really really want to go to Florida, I would much rather do that than Vegas BUT:
1. I can't afford to go by myself, so I would have to bring a friend along.
2. As previously stated, she doesn't feel comfortable with me spending the amount of money it would take to come out and see her, and would feel better about it if I waited until she gets out to school to go visit her.
3. My friend I'm bringing along also no longer wants to spend the money it would take to go to Florida now that I'm in the situation that I'm in.

So, unfortunately my hands are tied and there's really nothing I can do. She knows how important she is to me, and I've never given her any reason to not trust me. I wish the situation was different but it's out of my control.

Okay you explained why your going to Vegas but you didn't explain/comment on the last part of my other post. What if she does feel pressure by spending the money or the fear of not finding anyone else?
