Salvia lasts about 10 minutes, maybe, and then has an intense period of 2 hours of depression. Despite all the memes, jokes and bullshit, a psychedelic experience is a genuine thing that anyone can experience, and one can experience it the more open you are to said experience. I imagine that Miley, in the prime of her youth and thus less cynical, probably had quite a mini-trip of sorts. Altso Frightened at hipster runoff said it best -- I've had the same experience on shrooms, surrounded by a world of bullshit (literally) that you simply cannot handle the immense realization of how superficial and un-true to yourself your world and your life has become. Miley Cyrus probably tried to laugh it off, but the seeds of the thoughts have been planted. I'm guessing that the LA lifestyle isn't exactly the best environment for a psychedelic experience, something that should be ideally as nature-based as possible to get you in touch with the reality of this reality, and I'm also predicting that Miley will likely experiment beyond her means, have some very empty trips before coming to a realization at 35 that she was being raped by the media for all of her life. Too late to change anything, too unmotivated to start again, Miley will fade like every celebrity fades -- uninspired, used up and sadly caught in a realization reached far too late. Poor Miley, wish I could guide her through a forest, trip with her, and show her something real. Too bad.
