              Where We Came From

              1. Did we evolve from monkeys?

Humans did not evolve from monkeys. Humans are more closely related to modern apes than to monkeys, but we didn't evolve from apes, either. Humans share a common ancestor with modern African apes, like gorillas and chimpanzees. Scientists believe this common ancestor existed
5 to 8 million years ago. Shortly thereafter, the species diverged into two separate lineages. One of these lineages ultimately evolved into gorillas and chimps, and the other evolved into early human ancestors called hominids.

              2. How did humans evolve?

Since the earliest hominid species diverged from the ancestor we share with modern African apes, 5 to 8 million years ago, there have been at least a dozen different species of these humanlike creatures. Many of these hominid species are close relatives, but not human ancestors. Most went extinct without giving rise to other species. Some of the extinct hominids known today, however, are almost certainly direct ancestors of Homo sapiens. While the total number of species that existed and the relationships among them is still unknown, the picture becomes clearer as new fossils are found. Humans evolved through the same biological processes that govern the evolution of all life on Earth. See "What is evolution?", "How does natural selection work?", and "How do organisms evolve?"

There have always been 13 astrological signs. There are reports for the one that was recently added dates back to the 1930's, when it was discovered. It was just recently added though.

we started out as fish ive heard.lmaoo
You've probably heard this because of humans having hiccups. Some people think this has some relations to gills and that we are having this reaction because we are trying to separate oxygen from water... or something similar to that lol. I didn't fully understand when people were talking about it, but they say that a similar thing happens to fish whenever they take in water to breathe.

But back to that gorilla... that's just crazy.

That gorilla walking is fucking cool, it doesn't show evolution happening in any way though lol. Just like how there are abnormally smart humans, there are also abnormally smart gorillas.

erm think i seen it on an advert lmaoo, fish swiming out of ocean, then going into different creatures and then humans loll. and also the black and gold song. ' If the fish swam out of the ocean and grew legs and they started walking' but then just read the lyrics and the next line is 'and the apes climbed down from the trees and grew tall and they started talking' but your hiccups thing is pretty cool love things like this haha.[COLOR="Silver"]
