That trade was stupid as FUCK for the Dodgers. Took on $260M in salary and gave up 2 of their top prospects and 2 of the 3 guys they got are an aging pitcher whose ERA has been 5+ 2 of the last 3 seasons and another guy past his prime who's gonna be out for a year at the very least.

Gonzalez is still owed $127M on his current contract, is past his prime, and is in the middle of the worst season of his career. The Sox just wanted to get rid of him while he still has a good amount of value.
