Once again I will be rooting for the Rays, have been since 1998. Although we lost some of our best players (Carl Crawford, Carlos Pena, Rafael Soriano, etc.) we also picked up some great additions in Manny Ramirez and Johnny Damon. I think we will still have a great year, but might fall short of the playoffs.

i've been giving baseball lessons for 2 years now, ever since i got out of university...

2 pitchers, and one middle infielder, just this weekend. $40/hr.

last year both of my "students" got scholarships to play.. so i been just doin this on the weekend. since i shattered my femur and killed all hope of getting drafted, i decided i might as well pass my knowledge off to others. hope that makes more sense, my bad.

...still "lunch-break" high. haha.

as a LHP, DO NOT give up.... look at Jamie Moyer. If you can mix your pitches/speed, be consistently around the strike zone... you could pitch till you're 50...

if you think its worth it...


everyday i wake up and think to myself.... "why did you give up?" and its one of the worst feelings i could ever imagine (emotionally).. and i regret it every single day. especially when i look around the league and see the lack of talent at the 2B position.. it makes me sick, so i wont let it happen to anyone else, especially if i have the opportunity to intervene.

i played AAU ball with a kid, couldnt break 90, and he's pitching at U of PITT as we speak... so just give it good thought. thats all i can say.

I've come to love baseball as well. Couldn't say that a couple years ago though, I hated it and thought it was so boring. But I've been following it really close for about 2 years now. I don't know nearly as much yet about all the players etc. As I do in with the NBA or NFL but I'm getting there.

Baseball season is great though... Means summer is coming and there is nothing like Sunday night baseball on ESPN!

Baseball is probably the sport I'm the most knowledgeable about with basketball 2nd lol. So if you ever have any baseball questions, I can probably answer them for you
