Anyone have Verizon Wireless?? Question about the contract

I currently have the HTC Droid Eris, and its not eligible for an upgrade till January, I really dont want to wait that long because I want the new white Iphone 4. Is there anyway I dont have to pay for the retail price which is like $700?
