If you work, you get money. Yes, you pay taxes, but at the end of the year, don't you get some of that money back? Yes, our economy is shit right now, but look what happened with the Great Depression. We will bounce back, but right now (being such a young age) that you are, you shouldn't just "drop everything" and bow down to some fairytail bullshit. It's simple, if you legally work, you're gonna "get yours". If you 'hustle' and sell, then i really don't want to be paying MY hard earned dollars for you to stay in jail, because you believed in some fairytail bullshit and didn't want a real job.
