    Lupe Fiasco Defends Obama Comments

    It seems unlike some retarded as fans on her. Lupe is on the same page as me.

    Earlier this week, rapper Lupe Fiasco had some controversial words for our U.S. President, when he told CBS’ What’s Trending that “the biggest terrorist is Obama in the United States of America.”



    Fiasco has received negative feedback and caused quite a stir in the media, but the Chicago rapper isn’t backing down from his opinions.
    “I’ve got nothing to clarify. It’s Obama and the U.S. government. [It's] every president that came before him and every president that comes after him,” Lupe said to Billboard.com’s The Juice.
    “It’s funky because everybody’s pulling soundbites from this one interview that we did, but they don’t talk about anything else from the interview. So it’s really about, ‘What do people want to listen to?’
    “It’s not what I want to talk about, cause I want to talk about all types of shit… there wasn’t the same reaction about me having a book club… about me trying to promote literacy in a country with 50 million functioning illiterates walking around, because we have a failed and flawed education system.”

      That is Lupe's opinion, so It's unfair to get angry about it. I was at first, but then I thought about that's his own opinion.

      I do though think it's lame how in 08' he said " A vote for Obama is a vote for the future."
      The "rebel" who dumbed down his album because he was told to shouldn't be so offensive toward someone he once supported.

      It's bad that the media only took this part of the interview, but this was probably the most important part.

        Lupe is very educated and seems to know what he's talkin bout when it comes to things like this..not saying i agree but he's not just somebody who's ignorant about the topic..

                  Uhm i really didnt know he said that in 08. A bit contradictory...I dont like him as an artist tbh, but i respect him as a person, judging only from interviews and videos ive seen, not a lot. Thats it really.
