Settings < Accounts and Sync < Unhighlight your facebook account. It'll take all of them off, then you can just add the ones you need.

Haha you acted like you didn't have that much that wasn't on Facebook. The same exact thing happened to me. I have 1500 contacts. I just use the search tab when I want to text someone..

Yeah I might just keep them if worst comes to worst. Dumb though how there is an app for everything but I can't even delete multiple contacts lololol.

If you sync that with Google G-Mail you could log into that account then delete them and it will sync on the phone to remove them all. I think that would probably be the easiest.

Gimme a minute, I'm trying to find a link one of my friends used that was easy to understand.

EDIT: I think it was this.

I think that link is for computers. Gotta find a way to send my actual contacts to my G-Mail. That way I can easily delete them online then export them back to my phone. I tried awhile ago without reading any instructions, but it only sent my Twitter contacts to G-Mail? Weird...

If you didnt figure it out yet.

Check your contacts on the gmail site on a computer, if there not there check your phone, go to settings>account & sync> then make sure your google account is in there or just add it manually, and check the settings to make sure "sync contacts" is enabled. Then on the computer its easier to delete them on gmail because you can use check boxes.

I tried that. But...... the Facebook synced contacts aren't on the G-Mail. Just the few contacts that I added manually are.

gotcha... i just synced all my fb contacts with my existing ones because the others were ones that i really didnt talk to on a regular basis anymore. If i wasnt going to contact them i didnt want them in my phone. Theres gotta be a way to do it tho.

If you know someone who has a blackberry that will let you log in quick and use google sync it's super easy.
