MDR-Xb500 from Sony. UPS just delivered mine today, and the bass is amazing. The music itself sounds amazing.
They cost 50 offline at Amazon/Wal-mart.com, but you can pick up a pair for 80 at Best Buy.
I look up a lot of reviews before getting mine and they were compared to the studio beats by dre. Most saying the bass is better. They headphones are really comfortable too.

im seen alottttttt of reviews on headphones and 9/10 say dre beats SUCK for their price so i would say not to get them unless yu care about looks
1. Looks are important. Hello? These headphones are being worn ON YOUR HEAD. Out in plain view. Do you want to look stylish and cool, or do you want to look like an idiot wearing ugly headphones out in public? It's certainly a factor. I don't know why people brush this off.
2. Dre Beats are made for HIP-HOP. They are targeted for HIP-HOP FANS. They would not sound as good for rock, metal, country, etc because an overbooming bassline is not the desired focus for those genres. But they sound amazing for hip-hop because the overbooming bassline keeps your head nodding. MANY of those reviewers are not even hip-hop fans to begin with, which undervalues the main purpose of the headphones.
3. Dre Beats are POPULAR. What does that mean? More popular = more HATERS. People take pride in bashing things that are popular in today's society, because it screams out "Look at me! I'm a contrarian! I'm cool because I'm different!" As a Lil Wayne fan, you should realize this simple concept by now.
4. The headphones are simply AMAZING in every way to me and worth every penny of the $250 I paid for them. I've used them for hours every day for the past year.

If you want overpriced/overrated shit, then go for Dre.
If not, then go for what the first post said.
Don't listen to this guy...there's a 98% chance he's never even tried on the headphones himself, and is just hating.
Get the Dre Beats Studios.
Everyone I know that has the headphones says it's worth it.
And "overrated" isn't saying much when you're the #1 most popular headphones out by a WIDE margin. Because the popularity is so extreme, it's naturally going to be overrated to some degree by certain people.
