The reboot would be because of the Justice League of America film, they have to build up a Batman for that since Bale most likely won't be The Batman in anymore films.

They will have to introduce a new Batman, I don't understand what you don't get about that....They wouldn't be remaking the three films of this trilogy if that is what you are thinking....there are much more ways they can go....

Yeah, plus the current trilogy is kinda too realistic to fit in the DC Universe.
Although I have to wonder: if Christian Bale is out, who could play Batman in the future then? And who could possibly play Joker and live up to Heath Ledger?
