You draft your players, then when the season starts you can trade/cut them, move them out with players with the same position if they have byes or if they are going against shit teams.

Its really not that time consuming. You draft all of your players on one day (or just set it up to take the best available player if u dont have time yourself) You can take one day out of each week (Most likely a saturday) to see about trades, cutting players, injuries and stuff like that. That should only take like 35 min tops. The rest is just watching to see if ya team wins lol
