It's not, to his earlier fans.

But to his younger generation, the one's who like the poppy music, it was enjoyable. Radio play was fantastic for at least 3 singles. I enjoyed Lollipop, Got Money, and A Milli. I also enjoyed Let the Beat Build, Playing With Fire, Dr Carter, etc.

Point being, the album was diverse, it wasn't raw rap straight through, unlike the previous Carters, which made the sales peak. In which most people think it's everyones favorite album.

It's not his best album, and I know it's not his best but because thats the time I sort of got into him MASSIVE, it's my favourite. So it's completely opinion based, and like Twiggz said most of his younger generation like the more pop stuff (although i'm the younger generation i never play Lollipop or Get Money) Like I said it's my favourite cos it was the one that got me into him massively and from there I went to C1 + 2 and the rest of his albums/mixtapes.
